STATEWIDE ORIGINAL RELEASE
Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for 66-year-old Lamenda Ancar. She was last seen at 7111 Pinebrook Drive on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m. The Louisiana State Police received the request to issue a Silver Alert at approximately 6:23 p.m. today.
Ancar is a black female with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5’5” and weighs approximately 125 pounds. Family reported that Ancar has a medical condition that may cause her to become disoriented.
Ancar was last seen wearing gray pants and a pink, brown, and tan shirt. She is believed to be on foot.
